Job summary

UPS is seeking a reliable Automotive Technician to join a busy fleet maintenance team in the United States. The role covers maintenance of delivery vehicles, heavy-duty tractors, and trailers from multiple manufacturers, with diesel and gasoline propulsion and various systems.

You will diagnose, repair, and service hydraulic brakes, air brakes, electrical systems, and engine controls. You must hold an active US driver’s license and be willing to work 2nd or 3rd shifts, including weekend

Qualifications

• Current automotive mechanical experience required.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment, scan tools and PC.
• CDL is preferred.
• Must possess own hand tools as required for the job.

Responsibilities

• Meets DOT requirements for the job assignment.
• Bends, stoops, squats, kneels, climbs, and moves throughout the workday.
• Sits infrequently as required during the workday.
• Exhibits manual dexterity and fine motor skills for tasks.
• Operates standard and manual transmissions; uses power tools.
