Job summary

UPS is seeking a Mechanic Journeyman to join its fleet maintenance team. The Automotive Technician will maintain a diverse range of vehicles, including delivery vans, heavy-duty tractors, and trailers. Tools, license, and knowledge of diesel/gasoline propulsion, hydraulics, and electrical systems are required.

Starting pay is $39.07 per hour with weekly pay, training, 401(k), medical options, PTO, and holidays. Shifts may vary (1st/2nd/3rd) and union terms apply where relevant.

Qualifications

• Active driver’s license required.
• Willing to work 2nd or 3rd shifts, including varying schedules.
• Must possess the required hand tools for the job.

Responsibilities

• Meets D.O.T requirements for the job.
• Bends, stoops, squats, kneels, crouches, crawls, climbs ladders and stairs, stands, walks, and turns/pivots frequently.
• Sits infrequently, as required.
• Operates standard and manual transmission.
• Operates power and pneumatic tools.
