The Jordan YMCA in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Member Engagement Specialist to deliver a welcoming, high-quality member and guest experience.

You will lead front-line hospitality, supervise Welcome Associates, and work with center leadership to drive member engagement and growth while maintaining knowledgeable staff about programs and services. This full-time role requires a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends and a commitment to exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; degree preferred.
• 1–3 years in customer service, hospitality, membership engagement or sales.
• Ability to build positive relationships with members and staff.

Responsibilities

The Member Engagement Specialist ensures the center delivers a welcoming, dynamic and high-quality experience for all members and guests.

This role serves as the operational leader for front-line member experience and hospitality, setting the tone for daily member interactions, and ensuring the center maintains a welcoming and well-staffed environment at all times. The Specialist supervises Welcome Associates and ensures teams are knowledgeable about YMCA programs, services and engagement opportunities.

The Specialist collaborates with the Director of Membership Growth and center leadership to support membership growth, member engagement and awareness of YMCA programs and services.
