Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Clinical Specialist to support joint replacement surgeries in Stamford, CT. You will gain hands-on experience with Mako SmartRobotics and manual procedures, assisting with planning, instrumentation, and in-OR workflows.

The role involves on-call coverage, cross-functional collaboration, and ongoing training to ensure safe, efficient patient outcomes. A healthcare background and English fluency are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher OR equivalent experience as described.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license and English fluency required.

Responsibilities

• Gains competency in solo case coverage for manual and robotic procedures.
• Assist surgeons with pre-operative CT-based planning and implant sizing.
• Support full case preparation, including instrumentation checks and OR readiness.
• Troubleshoot technical issues in the operating room.
• Learn workflow for daily account coordination, inventory management, and logistics.
• Shadow teammates to understand territory dynamics and surgeon preferences.
• Participate in product demonstrations, labs, and customer trainings.
• Build relationships with surgeons, OR staff, and cross-functional partners.
• Manage administrative tasks related to accounts and case documentation.
• Collaborate with sales partners for seamless customer experience.
• Complete trainings, competencies, and certifications.
• Provide on-call coverage during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
