Job summary

Stryker Group in Stamford, CT is seeking a Clinical Specialist for Joint Replacement. You will support orthopedic surgeries with both robotic (Mako) and manual approaches, assisting with planning, case prep, setup, and real-time workflows to ensure safe, accurate outcomes.

You will gain hands-on experience with Mako CT-based planning, implant sizing, and intra-operative support, while also building proficiency in instrumentation and OR protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree OR Associate with 4 years of professional experience OR High school diploma with 6 years of professional experience.
• Previous clinical or surgical support experience is preferred.
• Experience with operating room protocols and teamwork is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Gain competency in solo case coverage for manual and robotic procedures through hands-on training.
• Assist surgeons with pre-operative CT-based planning, implant sizing, and positioning using advanced software.
• Support full case preparation, including instrumentation checks, equipment setup, and OR readiness.
• Troubleshoot technical issues confidently and efficiently in the operating room.
• Shadow teammates to understand territory dynamics and surgeon preferences.
• Participate in product demonstrations, labs, and customer training events.
• Build and maintain relationships with surgeons, OR staff, and cross-functional partners.
• Provide on-call coverage during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
