Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Clinical Specialist to support orthopedic surgeries worldwide, gaining hands-on experience with Mako SmartRobotics and manual procedures. You will assist in pre-operative planning, system setup, and real-time intra-operative workflows to ensure safe, accurate patient outcomes.

You will train through demonstrations, cadaver labs, and education programs while building strong surgeon relationships and supporting account logistics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in clinical or surgical settings preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Gain competency in solo case coverage for manual and robotic procedures.
• Assist surgeons with pre-operative CT planning, implant sizing, and positioning.
• Support full case preparation, instrumentation checks, and OR readiness.
• Troubleshoot technical issues in the operating room.
• Shadow teammates to understand territory dynamics and surgeon preferences.
• Participate in product demonstrations, labs, and training events.
• Build relationships with surgeons, OR staff, and cross-functional partners.
• Complete trainings, competencies, and certifications.
• Provide on-call coverage during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
