Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Clinical Specialist to advance orthopedic surgeries by combining robotic (Mako SmartRobotics) and manual techniques. You will support surgeons in the OR, handling pre-operative planning, equipment setup, and real-time workflows to ensure safe outcomes.

With hands-on training, you will gain competency in robotic and manual procedures, participate in labs, and build relationships with surgeons and OR staff. This role requires adaptability and on-call availability.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: a Bachelor’s degree, or an Associate degree with 4 years of experience, or a high school diploma with 6 years of experience.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Gain competency in solo case coverage for manual and robotic procedures through hands-on training.
• Assist surgeons with pre-operative CT-based planning, implant sizing, and positioning.
• Support full case preparation, including instrumentation checks and OR readiness.
• Troubleshoot technical issues in the operating room with confidence.
• Provide on-call coverage during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
