Job summary

Frederick Health Medical Group is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider—Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant—to join our Orthopedic Joint Replacement program in Frederick, MD. This full-time, on-site role partners with an orthopedic surgeon to deliver comprehensive care across the patient journey from evaluation to postoperative follow-up.

You will participate in preop planning, postoperative care, and in-office procedures, with first-assist opportunities in the operating room, while

Qualifications

• MD licensure in Maryland or eligibility to obtain.
• Active DEA and Maryland CDS licenses.
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• Unrestricted license with no suspensions.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate/manage hip and knee joint replacement patients in orthopedics.
• Perform preoperative evaluations and coordinate postoperative care.
• Provide first-assist in the operating room as trained.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care team.
