Job summary

Boston Housing Authority in Boston, MA seeks a Jobs Plus Director to lead the Boston Opportunity Hub, a HUD-funded program serving residents at Ruth Barkley, Alice Taylor, and Franklin Field. The Director will oversee daily operations, supervise staff, manage employer engagement, and ensure grant reporting to HUD.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred), at least five years in workforce development, strong data reporting skills, and the ability to coordinate multi-site

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, public policy, urban planning, education, human services, or a related field is required.
• Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• Minimum five years of experience in workforce development or related field.
• Experience managing multi-site programs with staff and partners is required.
• Strong data management and program reporting skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Directs operations of the Boston Opportunity Hub job center and serves as the primary leader and contact for residents, partners, and HUD.
• Oversees activities across three sites, coordinating with satellite hubs and external partners.
• Supervises Career and Financial Coaches and Community Coaches; delivers leadership development and training.
• Manages employer relationships, MOUs, and outreach including job fairs and on-site hiring events.
• Develops and implements a six-week job readiness curriculum aligned with employer demand.
• Prepares quarterly HUD reports and dashboards; monitors program performance and outcomes.
