Job summary

Southern Air in Mississippi is seeking a self-motivated HVAC Installer to join our growing installation team.

Installers are paid hourly or by piece rate, with uncapped pay potential and a full benefits package including health, vision, dental, disability and a matching 401(k).

The ideal candidate has 1–5 years of HVAC installation experience, a HVAC degree or equivalent certification, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to handle heavy equipment for in-person work.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years HVAC installation experience preferred.
• HVAC degree or equivalent field experience with certification from a technical/trade school.
• EPA Type II certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC equipment according to safety requirements, company standards, and manufacturer specifications.
• Stay up to date on current technologies and new products in the field.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction by addressing questions or issues from the client.
• Pre-measure job sites to properly prepare for installation.
• Connect equipment properly and efficiently.
• Document all calls and jobs to company requirements.
• Participate in safety training and adhere to safety policies.
