Job summary

Volunteers of America Los Angeles is seeking a Job Developer to coordinate job placement and support services for program participants on-site. You will develop individualized employment plans, assess employability, coordinate employer interviews, and build a local employer network to create placement opportunities.

This role requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to work with diverse clients in need of housing, training and employment support.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in case management or as a job developer.
• High school diploma (or GED) required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate job placement and support services for participants.
• Develop individualized employment plans with each participant.
• Conduct employability assessments and identify barriers to employment.
• Arrange interviews with employers and support job retention.
• Develop relationships with local employers for placement opportunities.
