Job summary

Work Opportunities Unlimited in Dedham, MA, is seeking a Career Resource Specialist (Job Coach) to help individuals develop career goals, build tailored resumes, and complete applications for jobs or school admissions.

You will coach interviews, accompany clients to job sites, provide transportation when needed, and support independent community travel with mileage reimbursement. A competitive salary, benefits, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-touch customer service environments.
• Valid driver's license and comfortable traveling locally.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team.
• Proficiency with MS Office and documenting notes in an electronic system.

As a Job Coach (known internally as a Career Resource Specialist) you will help individuals learn and strengthen their life skills as it relates to employment and education.

A typical day might include the following:

• Working with individuals to develop career goals and objectives

• Helping individuals create a customized resume and complete applications for either jobs or school admissions

• Coaching and preparing for interviews

• Assisting individuals at their job sites to ensure success and independence

• Provide occasional transportation to interviews and other essential employment milestones, while supporting individuals towards independent community travel. (mileage reimbursement provided)
