Work Opportunities Unlimited in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Community Employment Coach (Career Resource Specialist) to help individuals find meaningful work in their local communities. You will teach resume writing, interview prep, and job applications, coach clients at job sites, and build relationships with local employers to create opportunities.

This role requires a valid driver's license, weekday daytime hours, and comfort with occasional travel in your community; mileage is reimbursed.

As a Community Employment Coach (known internally as a Career Resource Specialist) you will help individuals find meaningful employment.

A typical day might include the following:

• Working with individuals to develop career goals and objectives
• Teaching individuals how to create a customized resume, fill out effective job applications, write cover letters, and prepare for interviews
• Engaging with local businesses to develop potential job opportunities
• Coaching and guiding individuals at their job sites
• Community-based travel in your personal vehicle to facilitate community-based job development and coaching, ensuring all services are delivered directly in the local environment. (mileage reimbursement provided)

Additional requirements include:

• Valid driver’s license and comfortable traveling within your local community
• Monday – Friday, daytime business hours (flexibility offered for part-time)
• Comfortable using MS Office, documenting notes in an electronic system, and accessing apps on a mobile device

Pay: $22-$25 per hour
