Job summary

Work Opportunities Unlimited (WOU) is an employee-owned organization that has helped people with diverse skills find meaningful employment since 1982. A typical day includes transporting individuals to interviews (mileage reimbursed), coaching them on career goals, and assisting with resumes and job applications.

You'll engage with local businesses to create job opportunities and support individuals at their job sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-touch customer service environments.
• Proficient with MS Office and documenting notes in an electronic system.
• Ability to work Monday–Friday daytime hours; part-time flexibility.
• Able to travel locally with a valid driver’s license and commute as needed.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Use your vehicle to transport individuals to and from job interviews (mileage reimbursement provided).
• Work with individuals to develop career goals and objectives.
• Teach individuals how to create a customized resume, fill out effective job applications, write cover letters, and prepare for interviews.

• Using your vehicle to transport individuals to and from job interviews (mileage reimbursement provided)
• Working with individuals to develop career goals and objectives

• Teaching individuals how to create a customized resume, fill out effective job applications, write cover letters, and prepare for interviews

• Engaging with local businesses to develop potential job opportunities

• Coaching and guiding individuals at their job sites
• Provide occasional transportation to interviews and other essential employment milestones, while supporting individuals towards independent community travel. (mileage reimbursement provided)

• Monday - Friday, daytime business hours (flexibility offered for part-time)

• Comfortable using MS Office, documenting notes in an electronic system, and accessing apps on a mobile device

Pay: $21-$24 per hour
