Job summary

RTX is offering an Engineering Development Program (EDP) for Development Operations and PSCV, a two-year rotation across three job functions, culminating in permanent placement with the Assembly Process Engineering team. The role focuses on jet engine assembly, procedures, and manufacturing readiness in a hands-on environment, with opportunities to grow technical proficiency.

Selected candidates will contribute to continuous improvement, must meet degree requirements, and be eligible for U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or STEM major by start date.
• Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Security Clearance.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
• Minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA.

Responsibilities

• Create and approve jet engine assembly procedures per engineering requirements and Engine Development Plans.
• Support the Assembly Floor through ownership of assembly instructions and troubleshooting of issues in coordination with Operations and Engineering disciplines.
• Develop, implement, and validate robust new processes to ensure production readiness.
• Grow technical proficiency in areas including engine hardware, assembly methods, and assembly equipment.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts to improve safety and efficiency in assembly activities.
