Job summary

RTX is offering an Engineering Development Program (EDP) in Development Operations and Product Safety, Certification, & Validation (PSCV) in Middletown, CT. This two-year rotation moves you across three job functions, leading to permanent placement in Assembly Process Engineering after the program.

You will gain broad jet engine development experience and hands-on process improvement opportunities. Participants will work onsite at RTX facilities, rotating through engineering and manufacturing

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical/Aerospace/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or STEM by start date.
• Ability to obtain/maintain U.S. Government security clearance.
• Travel up to 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Create and approve jet engine assembly procedures per engineering requirements and Engine Development Plans.
• Support the Assembly Floor through ownership of assembly instructions and troubleshooting of issues in coordination with Operations and Engineering disciplines.
• Develop, implement, and validate robust new processes to ensure production readiness.
• Grow technical proficiency in areas including engine hardware, assembly methods, and assembly equipment.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts to improve safety and efficiency in assembly activities.
