Job summary

RTX invites qualified engineers to join the Engineering Development Program (EDP) for DO and PSCV, a two-year rotation spanning three job functions to gain breadth in jet engine development, assembly, and testing. The program culminates with placement back in the Assembly Process Engineering team for permanent duties at the Middletown site. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or STEM Major obtained by start date.
• The ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Security Clearance.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
• Minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA

Responsibilities

• Create and approve jet engine assembly procedures per engineering requirements and Engine Development Plans
• Support the Assembly Floor through ownership of assembly instructions and troubleshooting of issues in coordination with Operations and Engineering disciplines
• Develop, implement, and validate robust new processes to ensure production readiness
• Grow technical proficiency in areas including engine hardware, assembly methods, and assembly equipment
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts to improve safety and efficiency in assembly activities
