Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Georgia is seeking a Clean Line Mechanic to support FAA-regulated maintenance by reading aviation tech data, prepping parts, and processing them through cleaning lines. The role offers exposure to jet engine components and strict quality requirements within an FAA environment.

Work shifts are 5:30 am–4:00 pm on Monday–Thursday, onsite at the Midland/Macon site. This position emphasizes health and safety, with opportunities to grow in a highly regulated aerospace setting.

Qualifications

• Must have HS diploma or GED.
• Strong reading and comprehension with attention to detail.
• Familiar with EH&S and ISO standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Read aviation tech data and manuals using software systems.
• Prep and mask parts for cleaning processes.
• Load and run large baskets with jet engine parts through cleaning tanks.
• Pressure wash, dry and wet blast, rinse and scrub parts.
• Ensure employee health & safety compliance in all tasks.
