Job summary

RTX’s Pratt & Whitney facility in GA is seeking a clean line mechanic to clean aircraft engine parts to FAA standards. You will read tech data to determine approved cleaning methods and manage parts through the cleaning processes on a 1st shift (5:30 am – 4:00 pm).

The role operates in a FAA-regulated environment, with emphasis on health & safety, quality control, and adherence to ISO EH&S standards. Training provided on site.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to read and understand aviation tech data.
• Strong attention to detail and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Read aviation tech data using various software and systems.
• Prep and mask parts for cleaning processes.
• Load and run large metal baskets with jet engine parts through tanks.
• Pressure wash parts.
• Dry and wet blast parts.
• Rinse and scrub parts as needed.
• Demonstrate Employee Health & Safety compliance.
