Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking an Assembly and Test Mechanic for the F135 MRO Depot in West Palm Beach. The role is onsite, Monday–Friday, with responsibilities spanning assembly, testing, and documentation of jet engine components.

You will work under supervision to ensure quality standards and safe operations. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 4+ years of formal training in power-plant mechanics and testing; preferred are SAP/SOLUMINA experience, and an A&P license.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and inspect jet engine components using a range of power tools.
• Perform functional checks on engine assemblies and test equipment under supervision.
• Acquire tools and hardware as needed to support assembly and test procedures.
• Monitor instrumentation during tests and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Prepare and package engines for shipment to customers.
• Support site readiness by inspecting equipment, facilities and support systems.
