Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking an Assembly and Test Inspector for its MRO Commercial Engine Center in a 1st shift. This onsite role involves extensive dimensional and visual inspection of engine components, using power tools and fixed/variable measuring instruments to ensure compliance with drawings and procedures.

The position requires high school completion and formal training in power-plant mechanics with preferred A&P license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years formal power-plant mechanics and testing training.
• AP license preferred.
• Experience reading complex drawings, specifications, procedures, and instructions.
• Experience with Solumina, SFWF, or similar programs.
• Ability to obtain and maintain powered industrial vehicle certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional checks on engine assembly and components.
• Conduct dimensional and visual inspections per procedures.
• Accept or reject material based on findings.
• Work from inspection procedures and drawings.
• Record results and complete paperwork.
• Support inline checks and verifications of dimensions.
