Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, located in Jupiter, FL, is seeking an Assembly and Test Inspector for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri 3:30 PM–Midnight) at our MRO Commercial Engine Center. This labor grade 5 role offers a shift differential and the opportunity to work on engine components and assemblies.

You will perform dimensional and visual inspections, using fixed and variable instruments, interpret engineering drawings, and document results to determine material acceptance or rework.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years formal training in power-plant mechanics and testing.
• A&P license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use various tools to perform functional checks on engine assembly and components.
• Perform dimensional and visual inspections per procedures.
• Verify accuracy with fixed/variable measuring instruments.
• Record results and determine acceptance or rework.
• Follow engineering drawings and inspection procedures.
