Job summary

Pratt & Whitney West Palm Beach is seeking an Assembly and Test Inspector for 2nd shift to perform engine assembly inspections and dimensional checks in a state-of-the-art MRO center.

The role requires high school graduation or GED with power-plant mechanics training. Experience with drawings and ability to obtain required vehicle certifications is preferred. Onsite position with competitive benefits and safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED; 2 years formal training in power-plant mechanics and testing.
• Experience working from complicated drawings, specifications, procedures and instructions to fabricate or set up equipment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain certifications to operate powered industrial vehicles.
• Experience with Solumina, SFWF, or similar programs.

Responsibilities

• Use power and mechanical tools to perform functional checks on engine assembly and components.
• Perform dimensional and visual inspections following standardized methods.
• Work from inspection procedures and engineering drawings to plan and perform inspections.
• Accepting or referring material for rework or quality review based on findings.
• Document results and complete appropriate paperwork.
