Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety and security of all Jefferson employees, students, visitors, staff, and property.
• Patrol Jefferson campus on foot or bicycle, monitor safety at various locations, and respond to serious incidents following applicable laws and policies.
• Interact with co-workers, visitors, and staff, providing escorts and reporting safety concerns.
• Produce incident reports, advise crime victims, and cooperate with law enforcement agencies.
• Participate in security details, VIP protection, crowd control, and emergency response.
• Perform additional security duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s Degree preferred.
• Security, law enforcement, or military experience required.
• Ability to pass physical, psychological, and drug tests.
• Valid driver’s license and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
