Xylem Tree Experts and Kendall Vegetation Services in Knoxville, IA is seeking a Mechanical Trimmer (Jarraff Operator) to remove branches and tree material from electrical lines. Must have past experience operating a Jarraff.

This full-time role requires safety focus, physical stamina, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather. A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred; CDL and DOT Medical Card are required if operating trucks.

Qualifications

• Prior heavy equipment operating experience in electric utility vegetation management or related fields.
• Must pass background check and drug screen as required for the job.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and maintain safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment to remove branches and tree material from electrical lines as directed.
• Assist in equipment preparation and daily maintenance per Foreperson instructions.
• Maintain safety practices, set up barriers, and report mileage as required.
• Travel for storm restoration work when needed and adhere to company policies.
