Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts and Kendall Vegetation Services seeks a Mechanical Trimmer (Jarraff Operator) to remove branches and tree material from electrical lines. Must have past experience operating a Jarraff.

The role requires strict adherence to safety rules, daily equipment prep, and operating as directed by the Foreperson, with occasional leadership of the crew on projects. Applicants should be able to travel for storm work and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment used in electric utility vegetation management or similar fields.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must follow safety practices and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Operate Jarraff and other heavy equipment as directed by Foreperson.
• Prepare equipment and materials for daily work.
• Lead crew when required and assist team members.
• Maintain and repair equipment and tools as needed.
• Travel for storm restoration work as required.
