Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts and Kendall Vegetation Services is seeking a Mechanical Trimmer (Jarraff Operator) to remove branches from electrical lines. Prior Jarraff experience is required, and the role involves safe operation of heavy equipment in outdoor settings.

The full-time position requires physical strength, balance, and the ability to work in varying weather conditions. Travel for storm restoration work may be needed; comprehensive benefits and a competitive pay range are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Experience operating a Jarraff or similar heavy equipment.
• Must meet physical and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and enforce safe practices.
• Prepare and inspect equipment with Foreperson guidance.
• Operate equipment as directed by Foreperson.
• Maintain and repair tools and equipment as needed.
• Assist crew, lead when required, and manage debris cleanup.
• Set up barriers and signs for safety and protect workers.
• Track mileage and assist with storm work as needed.
