Job summary

JTB Hawaii Travel, LLC is seeking a tour guide to escort Japanese-speaking guests on sightseeing tours across Hawaii and to provide helpful information and translation with hotels, restaurants, and venues.

Responsibilities include tour guiding in Japanese (75%) and assisting with hotel check-in, airport transfers, and dining reservations (25%). Strong English/Japanese communication and customer service are essential, with on-call scheduling and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Hawaii tour industry and standard tour movements.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Japanese, written and spoken.
• Ability to read tour itineraries in English and Japanese.

Responsibilities

• Guide Japanese-speaking individuals or groups to attractions and provide educational information.
• Assist with hotel check-in/check-out, airport guidance and dining reservations for guests.
• Read and complete VIP tour reports in Japanese when required.
• Other duties as assigned and support for guest inquiries.
