Volt is hiring Janitors in Fremont, CA to maintain cleanliness across warehouse, production, and common areas. Duties include trash disposal, restroom sanitation, cardboard recycling, and chemical handling with safety in mind.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year janitorial/custodial/warehouse cleaning experience preferred.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend and perform physical work throughout the shift.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Responsabilités

Volt is immediately hiring Janitors in Fremont, CA.

As a Janitor, you will:

• Maintain cleanliness throughout warehouse, production, and common areas
• Empty trash and dispose of waste materials properly
• Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms
• Break down cardboard boxes and remove recyclable materials
• Perform routine janitorial and industrial cleaning dutiesSafely handle, store, and use chemical cleaning products
• Sweep, mop, dust, and disinfect work areas
• Support general labor tasks as needed
• Help maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment

This is a full-time, contract opportunity!

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

The ideal candidate will have:

• Entry-level candidates welcome
• 0-1 year of janitorial, custodial, warehouse cleaning, housekeeping, or general labor experience preferred
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required
• Bilingual or monolingual candidates encouraged to apply
• Ability to lift and carry 20-30 pounds

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening

Pay Rate:

$19.50 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
