Job summary

Agilent Technologies is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, and repair Tissue Diagnostics IVD instrumentation across customer sites. The role requires frequent travel, typically 4–5 days per week with 2–3 overnight stays, in a highly customer-facing environment.

You will document activities in SAP, communicate with customers and internal teams, and contribute to continuous improvement while upholding Agilent’s service standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent education/experience considered.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in biomedical equipment servicing or related fields.
• Experience with electro-mechanical systems and IVD instrumentation.
• Strong communication, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Tissue Diagnostics IVD instrumentation.
• Respond to service requests promptly and schedule activities.
• Document service reports and time in SAP and reporting systems.
• Communicate with customers, management, and sales teams.
• Provide feedback on product performance and issues to Product Specialists and OEM vendors.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
