Job summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced IVA Spacesuit Deputy Project Manager to lead the development, integration, testing and certification of IVA spacesuit systems in support of human spaceflight missions. You will oversee multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure compliance with human-rating requirements while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in Engineering; master’s degree preferred.
• Experience leading complex aerospace development programs and multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience integrating spacesuit systems with crewed spacecraft.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead IVA spacesuit development from concept to certification, production, and support.
• Manage scope, cost, schedule, technical performance, and risk across multiple workstreams.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across systems engineering, mechanical, electrical, software, and safety disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with human-rating standards and customer requirements.
