Job summary

Bastion seeks an IVA Spacesuit Project Manager in Houston to lead the development, integration, testing, certification, and delivery of IVA spacesuit systems for human-rated spacecraft and crewed missions.

You will manage multidisciplinary engineering teams, coordinate system integration, and ensure compliance with human-rating standards, while delivering on schedule and budget. This onsite role requires strong leadership and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace, mechanical, or systems engineering.
• 5+ years of recent and related work experience in aerospace programs.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Experience integrating spacesuit systems with crewed spacecraft.
• US Citizenship or Permanent Resident status required.

Responsibilities

• Lead IVA spacesuit development from concept through certification, production, and support.
• Manage scope, cost, schedule, technical performance, and risk across workstreams.
• Direct multidisciplinary teams including systems, mechanical, electrical, software, and safety.
• Coordinate integration between spacesuits and spacecraft systems and crew interfaces.
• Present status to executive leadership and customers; drive program improvements.
