Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an experienced ITAR compliance professional to serve as the Empowered Official and main export control contact for the Global Affairs team in Washington, DC. You will design, implement, and maintain Salesforce's ITAR program, including licensing and registrations, across business units in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing and managing an enterprise ITAR program.
• Experience with Commodity Jurisdiction analysis and submissions.
• Proven track record implementing compliance processes and programs.
• Experience managing export licensing and mandatory reporting.
• Experience with risk management and compliance audits.
• Excellent communication skills and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to manage projects independently.
• Experience interfacing with government agencies (DDTC).
• Familiarity with DECCS and compliance tools.
• Experience in sanctions compliance is a plus.
• High ethical standards and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to adapt and grow in an expanding organization.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain ITAR compliance program, including policies and training.
• Serve as Empowered Official for ITAR compliance.
• Review and sign export license applications and TAAs.
• Conduct due diligence to verify party eligibility.
• Manage ITAR registration with DDTC and renewals.
• Classify CJ and determine ITAR-regulated activities.
• Advise business teams during deal evaluations to avoid unauthorized transactions.
• Prepare and manage authorizations for ITAR and export controls.
• Track and report to DDTC information on political contributions.
