Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an experienced ITAR compliance professional to lead the ITAR program as Empowered Official. You will oversee licensing, CJ classifications, and registrations, while partnering with business teams to ensure compliant exports.

This hybrid role requires coordinating with the Global Trade team and working from the Salesforce office three days a week. Strong ethics, attention to detail, and independent project management are essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing and managing an enterprise ITAR program.
• Experience with CJ analyses and submissions.
• Proven track record in export licensing processes and regulatory reporting.
• Experience with risk management, audits, and training delivery.
• Strong communication and collaboration across legal and business stakeholders.
• Ability to manage projects independently and work with government agencies.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Salesforce's ITAR compliance program and training.
• Serve as designated ITAR Empowered Official.
• Review and sign export license applications and TAAs.
• Conduct due diligence on transaction counterparties.
• Manage ITAR registration with DDTC and annual renewals.
• Classify CJ and determine ITAR applicability for products/activities.
• Advise on compliance during deal evaluations and prevent unauthorized actions.
• Prepare and manage export authorizations and track usage.
• Monitor political contributions and reporting thresholds.
