Eataly North America is seeking a Line Cook to transform high-quality ingredients into authentic Italian dishes in a fast-paced open kitchen in Santa Clara, CA. You will prepare, cook, and plate dishes following recipes and standards under supervision of the Sous Chef Manager or Chef de Cuisine.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years in food prep, strong knife skills, and a culinary arts degree. The role requires onsite availability with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, plus the ability

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a food preparation position.
• Good knife skills and finger dexterity to use small tools and utensils adeptly.
• Degree from a culinary arts training program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Portions, cuts, slices, dips, batters, breads, whips, beats, maintains holding temperature, fries and sautés.
• Plates menu items along with appropriate garnish.
• Follows recipes and complies with portion sizes, quality standards, department rules and procedures.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned
