Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, IT, or related field with three years of telecommunications/IT experience.
• Valid motor vehicle operator's license is required.
• Physical demands include sitting or standing at a desk for extended periods; may lift up to 30 lbs; may work outside normal hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide management and technical leadership for agency telecommunications, network, wireless, physical security, and low-voltage infrastructure.
• Supervise staff, assign work, evaluate performance, and develop personnel to maximize productivity and operational effectiveness.
• Plan and manage telecommunications and low-voltage projects from assessment and design through implementation and closeout.
• Review designs, drawings, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates; coordinate with contractors and stakeholders.
• Provide oversight of structured cabling, copper and fiber-optic systems, and statewide Wi‑Fi services; ensure standards and compliance.
