Job summary

STV is seeking an experienced Senior Transportation Project Manager for its South Carolina Transportation and Infrastructure practice. You will lead planning, design, development, and construction of transportation projects and manage scope, schedule, budget, and quality across multiple disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, transportation planning, architecture, or related field.
• PE license in South Carolina preferred.
• Extensive experience leading transportation, infrastructure, or preconstruction projects.
• Proven ability to manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, staffing, and client expectations.
• Experience delivering projects for public-sector clients (state DOTs, municipalities).
• Strong understanding of preconstruction and design processes in SC.
• Ability to develop client relationships and contribute to proposals and business development.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of transportation projects through preconstruction lifecycle.
• Direct multidisciplinary teams across roadway, bridge, traffic, drainage, environmental, and more.
• Monitor project performance, budget, schedule, risk, and profitability.
• Coordinate with clients, agencies, consultants, and contractors.
• Provide leadership in client meetings, negotiations, and project reviews.
• Support business development and proposals.
