Job summary

Colonial Downs Group is seeking an IT Technician to ensure smooth operation of back-office and front-of-house systems, including POS, printers, scanners, and networking equipment, at our Virginia gaming facility. You will provide on-site IT support and maintain asset inventories to support daily operations.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least 1 year of IT experience, with knowledge of software and hardware and the ability to work long hours including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of work experience in information technology or related field.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate with guests, co-workers and management.

Responsibilities

• Maintains confidentiality of privileged information per policy and state regulations.
• Provides onsite IT support for the gaming facility.
• Installs hardware such as PCs, printers, servers, phones, and network equipment.
• Installs and troubleshoots software, web applications, and connectivity issues with vendor support when needed.
• Performs routine maintenance including backups and data edits.
• Creates and maintains end-user accounts and desktop support responsibilities.
• Assists with programming copiers, telephone systems, and scanning/emailing documents.
