Job summary

NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, seeks a Technician II to join our IT team. You will maintain a reliable End User Infrastructure, support PDAs, PCs, Macs, printers, LAN, AV, Video conferencing, and phone systems, and respond to user issues with professionalism.

Qualified candidates have a BA/BS with 2+ years of related experience, strong communication skills, and comfort around active surgical environments.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree with 2+ years of related IT experience.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
• Comfortable in/around active surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and support End User Infrastructure equipment and connectivity.
• Provide Tier 2 support via phone and on-site; escalate when needed.
• Perform diagnostics on desktop computers and ensure malware protection.
• Document problem solutions and journal entries in ITSM.
• Assist with small projects, installations, and testing of new software/hardware.
• Support technology in the Brooklyn operating rooms.
