Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Biomedical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering with 4+ years of medical equipment repair experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.
• CBET certification by the International Certification Commission (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Installs, inspects, calibrates, and performs preventive maintenance of patient care, diagnostic, monitoring and therapeutic instrumentation in the Medical Center.
• Services and repairs all patient care, diagnostic, monitoring, and therapeutic instruments and records work in the medical equipment database.
• Determines whether equipment is covered by warranty or service contract and notifies the Operations Manager.
• Installs medical equipment in coordination with user departments and Facilities Management.
• Performs incoming inspections and safety checks on equipment and records data on checklists.
