Job summary

Oaks Christian School is seeking an IT Technician to deliver frontline technical support for faculty, staff, and students in a fast-paced educational environment. The role covers hardware, software, network services, and end-user devices, with collaboration across the IT team to ensure secure and reliable technology operations.

The position is full-time, 12-month, non-exempt, on-site only, reporting to the Director of Information Technology.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/IS or related field preferred.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, Apple desirable.
• Experience in a help desk, desktop support, or technical support role preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments preferred.
• Working knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and professional technical support to faculty, staff, and students.
• Configure, deploy, maintain, and support desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, and other technology devices.
• Support Windows and macOS operating systems and enterprise apps.
• Support classroom technology, AV equipment, projectors, and collaboration tools.
• Maintain technology assets, inventory, and equipment records.
