Job summary

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking an IT Technician to provide hardware and software support for staff, volunteers, and partners across the Delaware County aging services network. The role includes managing user accounts, configuring devices, and troubleshooting IT systems.

The ideal candidate will have an associate degree in information technology or equivalent experience and up to two years of IT support experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in information technology or equivalent experience.
• Two years IT support experience involving hardware and software.
• Ability to meet PA residency requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on IT support for hardware, software, and connectivity to staff, volunteers, and providers.
• Create and manage user accounts and system access in supported platforms.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, and mobile devices.
• Monitor performance, address network problems, and support shared resources.
• Record help desk requests, track equipment, and maintain accurate technical records.
• Determine user training needs, prepare training materials, and provide instruction to users on technology topics.
