Job summary

Akkodis is seeking an IT Technician/Jr. Admin with a client in Erie, PA. The role will perform administrative and operational support under the direction of administrators and leadership, including recurring maintenance activities and hands-on support.

The position offers a $18–$20 per hour rate, may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors, and requires an Associates Degree in a related field and at least two years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum two years related experience.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow Requests and intake.
• Must have familiarity with Infoblox, Asset Management.
• Must have familiarity with general networking & Systems Administration.

Responsibilities

• Submit and track move, add, and change.
• Execute documentation audits and remediation efforts.
• Maintain operational records and task tracking.
• Provide administrative hands-and-feet support.
• Perform Tier 1 ticket triage and fulfillment.
• Escalate issues to appropriate technical resources as needed.
• Support preventative maintenance initiatives.
• Assist with compliance-related activities.
• Contribute to documentation and process improvement efforts.
• Support knowledge management and cross-training initiatives.
• Login into servers, network devices, and software to perform configurations, backups, firmware updates, software updates, and create backup configuration files.
• Configure & Troubleshoot Network: Devices, Servers, Client Applications, and workstations.
• Act as point of contact for dedicated systems, servers, applications, and software.
• Collaborate with CP&M departments on SOPs & Process Documents.
