Job summary

State of Louisiana is seeking an Information Technology Technical Support Analyst (1–3) to support design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of LSBN operating systems and software applications. The role requires collaboration with applications staff and database management to ensure system reliability.

The incumbent will contribute to monitoring and optimizing computer systems and databases, with responsibilities spanning technical support, OS maintenance, and vendor-supplied

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in information technology or 6 years in any field with 1 year IT experience
• Bachelor or associate degree with IT experience equivalents allowed
• Can substitute education/experience per State Civil Service rules
• Certifications in approved area may be substituted for education/experience at hire

Responsibilities

• Assist IT Analysts 2 and 3; perform tasks related to technical support activities
• Provide specialized support for applications and database environments
• Handle end-user, networking, and database infrastructure support tasks
• Configure and troubleshoot hardware and software using standard procedures
• Support OS design, development, installation, customization, testing, and maintenance
