Atlas Technica in New York, NY is seeking a Team Lead to guide a growing support team of Junior System Engineers and Interns. This role combines technology leadership with people management, offering strong career development opportunities in a collaborative MSP environment.

You will mentor staff, manage performance, and oversee technical projects while maintaining client relationships and participating in on-call rotations and client meetings.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of people management experience.
• 5+ years of IT experience (Desktop Support, Systems Engineering, or Systems Administration).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience supporting a Microsoft 365 stack (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Intune, Azure AD, Teams).
• Knowledge of Windows Server platforms, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
• Familiarity with Citrix XenApp; endpoint protection tools (e.g., Sophos).
• Experience with VMware or Hyper-V virtualization; basic networking knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Supervise a team of Junior System Engineers and Interns.
• Act as escalation point for technical and non-technical issues.
• Approve PTO and time-entry for your team.
• Provide mentoring, coaching, and training; manage performance feedback.
• Own technical projects and provide guidance to clients.
• Conduct end-of-year performance reviews for the team.
• Manage client relationships for a subset of accounts.
• Assist with client escalations as needed.
• Participate in on-call escalation rotations.
• Attend and participate in client meetings.
• Contribute to organizational initiatives to improve functions, processes, and technology.
