Job summary

Atlas Technica is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer to join the New York-based Support team.

This hybrid role requires hands-on expertise in IT systems administration, advanced support, and infrastructure troubleshooting across client environments. You will serve as escalation for junior engineers and collaborate with multiple technical teams to resolve complex issues while maintaining documentation and client environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of IT experience in systems engineering, administration, or related environments.
• Strong end-user and desktop support across Windows, Office, devices, and workplace tech.
• Significant experience with Microsoft 365 environments and related services.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, IAM, and related admin tech.
• Experience with endpoint protection and threat-management tools (e.g., Sophos).
• Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and enterprise networking tech.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced remote and onsite IT support across client environments.
• Serve as escalation point for junior engineers on complex issues.
• Provide mentorship and best-practices through troubleshooting and documentation.
• Manage and resolve complex tickets via the ticketing system.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365 stack and Entra ID.
• Support Windows Server environments, AD, GPO, IAM, and endpoint tooling.
• Troubleshoot networking, virtualization, cybersecurity, cloud, and infra issues.
• Support Azure workloads and contribute to cloud initiatives.
• Implement and support enterprise networking (firewalls, switches, wireless).
• Balance escalations, requests, and project work; drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain technical documentation and client-environment information.
• Adhere to Atlas Technica standards and change-control procedures.
