Job summary

Atlas Technica in New York, NY is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer to join our Support team. This hands-on role provides advanced IT support, systems administration, and troubleshooting across client environments in a hybrid work setting.

You will act as an escalation point for junior engineers, mentor teammates, and collaborate with Client Technology Managers to implement cloud, security, and infrastructure initiatives, while maintaining documentation and change-control standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of IT experience in systems engineering or admin roles.
• Strong Microsoft 365 and Azure knowledge.
• Experience with MSP environments and multi-client support.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and travel in NY as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced remote and onsite IT support across client environments.
• Serve as escalation point for Junior Systems Engineers and Systems Engineers.
• Mentor teammates through troubleshooting and best practices.
• Manage and resolve complex support requests via ticketing system.
• Administer Microsoft 365 technologies, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Intune, Teams, and Entra ID.
• Support Windows Server, Active Directory, GPO, and IAM technologies.
