Job summary

TEKsystems is hiring a Recruiter Trainee in the United States. You’ll start with an extensive hands-on training program, then move into a Recruiter role to source IT consultants and manage the recruiting cycle.

You’ll build relationships, coach talent on market trends, and develop sourcing strategies using tools including in-house AI. The role offers a base salary plus weekly commissions, bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree OR Military experience OR Associates Degree and at least 3 years of full-time professional experience OR 4 years of full-time professional experience in a customer facing role
• Excellent written and oral communication skills to solicit perspectives by asking good questions
• Willingness to learn and experiment to find best solutions

Responsibilities

• Recruit top IT consultants and serve as the main point of contact throughout the entire recruiting cycle
• Build and maintain relationships with consultants by providing career coaching on market-trends, labor rates, resume creation, interviewing techniques, and emerging skills
• Develop effective sourcing strategies leveraging various tools and technologies, including in-house AI tools
• Use AI-generated insights to make data-driven decisions throughout the recruitment process
• Leverage market expertise to advise account managers and clients on skill-set availability, labor rates, hiring location decisions, and timelines for onboarding talent
• Negotiate unique compensation packages to attract and hire candidates for clients’ needs
• Demonstrate specialized knowledge within the aligned skill-specialization, industry specialization, or role specialization
