Job summary

Proven IT in Tinley Park, IL is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead full‑cycle hiring, onboarding support, and pipeline development. You will partner with hiring managers and HR leadership to deliver a high‑quality candidate experience and build talent communities for Proven IT.

You will draft descriptions, post roles, screen applicants, and conduct video and in‑person interviews while leveraging modern sourcing techniques.

Qualifications

1–3 years of recruiting experience preferred; IT or sales recruiting is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred.
Strong presentation and communication skills.
Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM/ATS tools.
Team‑oriented but capable of working independently.
Creative problem solver with a proactive approach to talent challenges.
Strong commitment to building a positive candidate experience and employer brand.
Understanding employment laws and best hiring practices.
Valid driver’s license and reliable form of transportation.

Responsibilities

Draft and update job descriptions for open roles.
Post job openings across job boards and recruiting platforms.
Screen applications, coordinate 60‑ & 90‑day check‑ins and follow‑ups.
Conduct video screens and in‑person interviews; handle candidate communication.
Familiarity with modern sourcing techniques (LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, employee referrals, social media, etc.).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—both written and verbal.
Ability to manage multiple requisitions and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Send onboarding emails and coordinate pre‑hire screenings.
Support onboarding logistics and build long‑term candidate pipelines.
Coordinate scheduling for all interviews with candidates and hiring teams.
Collaborate with leadership to refine recruitment processes and candidate experience.
Represent the company at job fairs and build academic partnerships.
Assist with HR event coordination.
