Job summary

Proven IT in Tinley Park, IL is hiring an entry-level Recruiter to support hiring and onboarding efforts. You will identify, engage, and guide candidates through the recruitment process with hands-on training and close collaboration with the HR team and hiring managers.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people, takes initiative, and can follow through through challenging searches. No prior recruiting experience required; equivalent education or internship experience is

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of recruiting, sourcing, staffing, or related experience; internships welcome.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Communications, or related field is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and engage prospective candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, social media, and outreach strategies.
• Review applications and conduct initial phone or video screens using interview guides.
• Build rapport with candidates and maintain engagement throughout the interview process.
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams and communicate updates promptly.
• Post and refresh job openings across platforms and assist with job descriptions.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and notes in the ATS.
• Support pre-employment activities including background checks and onboarding communications.
• Develop candidate pipelines by re-engaging previous candidates and persistent outreach.
• Help create a positive candidate experience from outreach to onboarding.
• Assist with recruiting reports, job fairs, campus outreach, and HR events.
• Learn Proven IT's recruiting processes and sourcing best practices through hands-on coaching.
